讲者简介：

Patricia Buckley Ebrey，生于1947年3月7日，华盛顿大学历史系教授，美国著名的历史学家，专门研究中国宋朝时期的文化和性别问题，她于1968年从芝加哥大学获得了文学学士学位，并于1970年和1975年获得了哥伦比亚大学的硕士和博士学位。在获得博士学位后，Ebrey被聘为伊利诺伊大学厄巴纳-香槟分校的客座副教授。她于1982年成为副教授，三年后晋升为教授，现任美国华盛顿大学历史系威廉氏名誉教授（Williams Family Endowed Professor in History），并在2013年荣获美国历史学会终身成就奖。Ebrey教授获得了包括美国国家人文基金会、约翰西蒙古根海姆纪念基金会、伍德罗威尔逊基金会和蒋经国基金会等颁发的众多著名奖项。《内闱：宋朝中国女性的婚姻和生活》获得了1995年亚洲研究协会的约瑟夫利文森图书奖。她2008年书稿《积累文化：徽宗皇帝的收藏》获得了史密森学会2010年颁发的“东亚艺术史杰出作品奖”。另外，她将《朱子家礼》与《袁氏世范》两本重要古籍翻译成英文，帮助英语世界读者了解中国，亦裨益于海外中国史研究。她也参与编辑东亚史、世界史、中国史等领域的教科书，对于历史教育贡献卓著。
